Title: Assad family pride
Published: Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles
Date: April 29, 2011
About this cartoon: That Arab reform protest movement attempted to take hold in Syria, but its leader, Bashar Assad, used governmental forces to suppress the protests with very deadly results. Such a crackdown was not unprecedented there, and his iron-fisted father, Hafez Assad, would have been proud.
