About this cartoon: The person convicted of the 1988 bombing of an airplane over Lockerbie, Scotland that killed 270 people, Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi, was released on "compassionate grounds" by the Scottish Justice Secretary, to the outrage of much of the world. Back home in Libya, however, the seriously ill al Megrahi was greeted as a hero.
