About this cartoon: Republicans in several states have been pushing for new protections against supposed voter fraud, calling for various forms of identification and other measures. Reported incidents of voter fraud are extrememly minimal, though, and these measures seem clearly aimed at turning away Black, Latino and poor voters... who tend to vote as Democrats. One of the funny unintended flaws of such measures when it was learned former President George W. Bush was ineligible to vote under new voter ID laws.
