About this cartoon: California's unprecedented recall election was getting weirder by the day, as literally hundreds of candidates jumped into the short race to become the next governor. Most of them had little experience and poor qualifications, and a menagerie of odd celebrities such as Larry Flint, former kid-actor Gary Coleman, melon-smashing comedian Gallagher, billboard bimbo Angelyne and porn star Mary Carey trew their, um, hats into the ring.
Noteworthy: Great fun to draw. This was my first cartoon after a month away, due to doctor's restrictions on drawing due to carpal-tunnel syndrome soreness in my arm.
