About this cartoon: A new documentary film by Al Gore (rated 4 stars by Roger Ebert) issued a dire warning over the consequences of global warming, noting that mankind had precious little time to make fixes before irreparable harm occurs to the planet. Many critics have instead focused on sneering at Gore, suggesting an unwelcome political comeback attempt, and ignored the central themes of the film. The presidents Bush, father and son, have been sneering at the concept of global warming for years as some kind of liberal special-interest whine.
