About this cartoon: Although negotiations were said to be going on for the release of Gilad Shalit (reportedly still alive), nothing had happened at the time this cartoon was drawn, making for half a year since that soldier was kidnapped into Gaza, followed quickly by two others kidnapped into Lebanon (status and whereabouts unknown).
