About this cartoon: Ronald Reagan's pet project, the "Star Wars" Strategic Defense Initiative, was one of the most expensive military projects ever conceived (and was probably unworkable as well).
Noteworthy: Awarded top honors, along with my "Blind Reagans" cartoon, in a national competition sponsored by the Center for Defense Information for cartoons on the Strategic Defense Initiative.
