About this cartoon: Another tragedy of war: soldiers get exposed to chemical and biological hazards (often from our own forces), but the government refuses to acknowledge that there's a problem, never mind doing (or paying) anything. This cartoon referred to Vietnam, but could also have applied to both of the Gulf wars in the decades after this was drawn.
