Title: Barry Bonds
Published: Ventura County Star
Date: Aug. 7, 2007
About this cartoon: Baseball's most cherished record, the all-time career home run mark, fell from the possession of Hank Aaron to that of Barry Bonds. Outside of his home field in San Francisco, most fans in America believe the record is tainted from Bonds' obvious steroids use (his weirdly bulked up body contrasts markedly with his frame from several years earlier). On top of this, it's been speculated that his arm-protection contraption may give him extra lever action to give him a further unfair advantage in hitting the ball more efficiently than someone not wearing this armor.
