About this cartoon: An attempt to suggest the increasingly desperate housing conditions of those unable to keep up with the American Dream; drawn for expensive Los Angeles, but applicable to most any urban area.
Noteworthy: I think the cartoon stands up well over time, except if I drew it in 2000 that "utility porch" on the last line would be at least triple that rent...
