about this cartoon: | Title:
Cartoon physics Published: Ventura County Star Date: April 13, 2003 About this cartoon: Gasoline prices had shot up to their highest levels ever, over $2 per gallon for regular. Oil industry gouging was widely suspected. As the war ended, wholesale gas prices started to cool noticeably... but the price at the pump was not coming down with the crude prices, in fact not coming down at all until a couple weeks after this was published. Noteworthy: A fun cartoon to draw. You DO remeber how Wily Coyote chased the Road Runner off many a cliff, and never fell until he was made aware that he had indeed run off the cliff awhile back? |
