about this cartoon: | Title:
For Dad Published: Ventura County Star Date: Mar. 23, 2003 About this cartoon: George W. Bush finally has the chance to finish what his father began in dismantling Saddam Hussein's regime, as well as the chance to avenge Saddam's plot to assassinate Bush senior. Some would suspect Dubya has looked forward to this moment ever since he won the presidency. Noteworthy: Train-of-thought cartoon idea: I was mulling on Dubya hitting Baghdad to avenge his dad, and noticed the word "dad" in both words. Voila, a cartoon emerged. This cartoon drew some praise, and also some heated, angry responses. |
