About this cartoon: Yes, the objective of war with Iraq is to rid the world of a very dangerous man willing to employ very dangerous weapons. But it's not lost on the Administration that Iraq holds perhaps the world's second-biggest reserves of oil (after Saudi Arabia), and having control of this, or at least putting the control into friendlier Iraqi hands, is certainly an additional prize being sought.
Noteworthy: This cartoon caught some angry flak from those who point out the war is mostly not about oil... see my previous two sentences above.
