About this cartoon: With the Republicans gaining control of the House of Representatives, its members are throwing their weight around... and a primary objective seems to be denying President Obama victories of any sort. Obama was trying to negotiate a reduction in strategic arms with Russia (the START Treaty), but Republicans refused to support it, even though a safer America would seem to be in the nation's— and thus the party's — interest.
Noteworthy: A "cleaner" version of this substituted "Screw up" for "Screw."
