About this cartoon: The Republican governor in Wisconsin (and his G.O.P. colleagues in Ohio and Indiana) tried to use the state's fiscal crisis, a budget deficit, to eliminate the bargaining rights of public employee unions altogether, threatening massive layoffs if this didn't happen and sparking massive protests nationawide from organized labor.
