About this cartoon: The deadly shooting rampage in Tucson, Arizona, that killed a federal judge and several other people and nearly killed Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords prompted a national debate about the super-heated political rhetoric that had been used in the months leading up to the shooting. Violent rhetoric on talk radio and in political campaigns, including from Sarah Palin's camp, was believed to play a role in setting off the gunman.
