about this cartoon: | Title:
Arnold Schwarzenegger Published: Ventura County Star Date: Oct. 30, 2002 About this cartoon: Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger had been developing an interest in politics, and is seen by some as a potential Republican candidate for governor -- hey, it worked for Reagan. He embraced Proposition 49, a measure for after-school funding mandates, as his pet cause... and maybe as a launching pad for his future run for governor. Noteworthy: I had some qualms about the Austrian accent, but Schwarzenegger himself makes fun of it, Should he run and/or win office, I may need to drop or lessen this accent use. |
