About this cartoon: California legislators passed some relatively-tough (compared to most states, and to Congress) restrictions against automatic and semi-automatic "assault weapons."
Noteworthy: Probably the visually-strongest cartoon I drew during my short stint as an editorial cartoonist at the Examiner.
