about this cartoon: | Title:
Jerry Brown, 1992 Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: April 4, 1992 About this cartoon: Former Governor Jerry Brown was back for another run at the presidency, trying to present himself as an alternative to Bill Clinton. The cartoon plays with various ways he portrayed and positioned himself over time (including his "800" fundraising number) Noteworthy: I had a lot of fun with Brown's continual reinventing of himself. Actually, Jerry has always been a fascinating politician to watch, and he provided me with lots of material as I launched my career and he went through his own various career moves. |
