about this cartoon: | Title:
In good hands with PG&E Published: Daily News of Los Angeles Date:Nov. 19, 1981 About this cartoon: The Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant was being built in an area with active earthquake faults. Pacific Gas & Electric assured everyone there was nothing to worry about, but in the post-Three-Mile-Island era that failed to reassure most folks, especially given PG&E's history of false assurances. Noteworthy: A popular cartoon, especially with those in Northern California (in PG&E territory). |
