About this cartoon: San Francisco's Nancy Pelosi, who had been Democratic Whip, became the new House Minority Leader, making her the first woman to lead a major U.S. political party. The problem is, she is a solid liberal and is feared by many in her party being too liberal to keep the Democrats from getting hammered even worse in future elections.
Noteworthy: I was very pressed for time, so I lifted a drawing of the Capitol from a cartoon I did about a decade earlier.
