About this cartoon: Republican candidate for governor Meg Whitman, a former eBay executive, failed to register or vote for most of her adult life, missing election after election until age 46. And she only registered as a Republican in 2007. Apparently omitting this primary civic duty didn't deter her from wanting voters to perform the same function on her behalf.
