about this cartoon: | Title:
Hanford radiation & gov't Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: July 14, 1990 About this cartoon: The residents of the Tri-Cities area of Washington state had always been given assurances that they were in no danger from the nearby Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Government reports released in the 1990s finally suggested that maybe this wasn't the case after all, finding radiation in land, water and maybe humans. Noteworthy: One of many cartoons I did about Hanford and (what a surprise) the government being less-than-candid about potential risks. | ||||||||||||||
