More about this cartoon:
Title: Inflow, outflow
Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer
Date: July 19, 1993
About this cartoon: The hard-to-read words on the right are "Fewer surviving animals." The numbers of species disappearing forever from the planet are alarming, and while extinctions do occur naturally, the hand of man is to blame for much if not most of the recent extinctions. The ever-growing human population keeps squeezing out animals, from habitat destruction to over-harvesting for food to illegal trade in body parts for exotic psuedo-medicinal uses.
Noteworthy: Never got many compliments on this cartoon... it's one that makes everybody sad.
