About this cartoon: James Watt wanted to lease oil drilling and mining rights everywhere, sell trees to logging interests and privatize forest lands. Quite the steward of the land, he was.
Noteworthy: I'm not sure how many people would recognize the seal of the Department of the Interior, but I think this conveys its point.
