about this cartoon: | Title:
Tanker bombs Published: Ventura County Star Date: Nov. 21, 2002 About this cartoon: An oil tanker sank off the coast of Spain, carrying twice the oil of the Exxon Valdez and with the potential to be twice the envionmental disaster Not surprisingly, this tanker turned out to be of the older type with a single hull, which is more prone to leak than the more modern double-hulled ships. Noteworthy: I briefly considered redrawing my cartton on single-hulled ships that's in my Personal Favorites section of this web site, but finally came up with this new variation. |
