About this cartoon: With severe violence raging in Israel and in Palestinian areas, the question was asked: did Yasser Arafat really have either the ability or the desire to halt the violence? The answer in either case most likely was, not really.
Noteworthy: Drawn on Election Night 2000, since the presidential race was not going to be determined that night after all.
