about this cartoon: | Title:
Purim Published: Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles Date: March 5, 2004 About this cartoon: I simply wanted to do a fun cartoon about the holiday of Purim. One of the "rituals" -- in some circles anyhow -- that I recently learned was that it is the only time in the year one is permitted or even encouraged to drink to excess (usually quite frowned on in Judaism)... when one can no longer tell the hero Mordecai from the villain Haman, then one has had enough. |
