about this cartoon: | Title:
Kids and the comics Published: Editor & Publisher Date: Sept. 2, 1995 About this cartoon: Survey after survey shows that comics are one of the most popular parts of newspapers. Nonetheless, newspapers have shrunk them to near-illegible sizes to save space, and dropped some of them to save money, rather than expand them to attract the younger readers they say they are so desperate to get. Noteworthy: This was the first of many cartoons for E&P that concerned cartoons, which were very well received by my colleagues. |
