about this cartoon: | Title:
Generation X readers Published: Editor & Publisher Date: Feb. 22, 1997 About this cartoon: Newspapers have been losing readership for years. The older readers, while loyal, are aging and dying, but younger readers aren't looking at newspapers. One of the reasons so many papers have Web sites is the hope that just maybe the new medium will catch some of those coveted Gen-X readers. Noteworthy: This sums up some prevailing attitudes on both sides. |
