about this cartoon: | Title:
The Internet surfer Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: June 19, 1995 About this cartoon: Some members of Congress vowed to combat pornography on the Internet. I wanted a visual metaphor to show how unlikely I figured their goal was to happen in a fast-rushing, quickly-increasing web world. Noteworthy: One of my last uses of a special chemically-treated paper (Grafix Unishade), once the staple of editorial cartoonists, to do the gray tones. |
