About this cartoon: A light cartoon about the job market for journalists. Major-paper reporters can make $1000 a week or more, but small-time papers can pay vastly less.
Noteworthy: The teacher is based on Ben Cunningham, a journalism professor at Calif. State University Long Beach, and the name Hudson is from a reporter friend whose wife also works at Cal State Long Beach.
