about this cartoon: | Title:
Ken Starr's leaks Published: Editor & Publisher Date: June 27, 1998 About this cartoon: Special Prosecutor Kenneth Starr's mission was to "get" President Clinton on sex-scandal charges, but the supposed neutrality of his office was compromised by continual "leaks" to the media (which they eagerly accepted). Noteworthy: The basic gag about spurting from a water fountain (after, say, being shot repeatedly) is an old cartoon sight gag, but I decided the cynical addition of the over-eager media figure gave it enough of a new twist to proceed. |
