about this cartoon: | Title:
RSI Published: Editor & Publisher Date: March 9, 1996 About this cartoon: Repetitive Stress Injuries, such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, are all-too-common ailments among newspaper workers, especially those who type all day, and has ended the careers of some of these people. Most papers now strive for ergonomically-improved workstations to try to reduce these injuries. Noteworthy: This well-received cartoon is a very personal one, as I had also struggled with RSI (tendonitis) from too a stressful drawing workload, particularly with a computer mouse (I recommend digital tablets like those from Wacom). |
