about this cartoon: | Title:
The candidate for the 1990s Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Feb. 3, 1992 About this cartoon: The ultimate candidate, encompassing the bland traits seemingly necessary these days to survive (especially, no mistresses, pot-smoking, etc.). Noteworthy: This was an update of an earlier cartoon of mine with "Filbert T. Hazelnut," who campaigned on a smooth clean image while espousing outrageously fanatical positions. Exhibited at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. | ||||||||||||||
