about this cartoon: | Title:
Shapers of U.S. foreign policy Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: December 13, 1985 About this cartoon: Foreign policy in the Reagan administration was of a hard-charging muscle-flexing type... meanwhile, the hard-charging muscle-flexing character Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) was capturing the attention of movie-goers. It felt like no coincidence. Noteworthy:This cartoon was lots of fun to think up and draw, with George "Shultzo" the transition character from the supposedly serious to the comical ones. |
