about this cartoon: | Title:
Someday you'll be president Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: July 18, 1993 About this cartoon: Bill Clinton hadn't been president very long, and life was already a constant series of knock-down fights, embarrassments and major headaches. It made we wonder why anybody would really want such a job in the first place. Noteworthy: I guess every editorial cartoonist has done a "Someday, son..." cartoon (such as, "...this will all be yours"); the trick is to find new twists to make the cliche still say something valid and interesting. | ||||||||||||||
