about this cartoon: | Title:
World War II Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Sept. 2, 1995 About this cartoon: The fiftieth anniversary of the end of World War II brought forth tons of tributes and memorials to the people Tom Brokaw called "The Greatest Generation." This was my tribute. Noteworthy: Not a lot of responses to this, but those I got were very moved by this cartoon. The original, given to honor my father Nate Greenberg (who served in the Navy Seabees during the war) hangs in the living room of my parents' house. | ||||||||||||||
