about this cartoon: | Title:
Missiles vs. Bioterror Published: Marin Independent Journal Date: Oct. 30, 2001 About this cartoon: The Sept. 11 terrorist gave way to the October bio-terror attacks, as anthrax-contaminated letters made their way to government and news media locations, killing a few innocent citizens along the way. Meanwhile, President Bush used the 9/11 attacks to justify the need for his missile shield plan to combat terrorists... a plan that would have still been useless against the bioterror attacks. Noteworthy: Bush is actually treated with more respect and less of a caricature than my pre- Sept. 11 cartoons used, and in fact this is my first post-attack cartoon involving Bush. |
