About this cartoon: I had wanted to do a cartoon about President Bush and his attitudes toward carbon dioxide emissions and global warming, but hadn’t come up with a workable concept. This cartoon, drawn for Earth Day, was a bit wordy but was able to deal with this subject as well as with Bush’s hard-line view on global family-planning funding.
Noteworthy: The image of George in panel 3 was the basis for an image used in the most popular of my t-shirts... see the“Cool Stuff you can buy” section on the Cartoon Category Main Page at the top of this page.
