About this cartoon: Partly a get-out-the-vote cartoon, it was mostly to counter a prevailing public sentiment that neither George W. Bush nor Al Gore were much different nor worth voting for, and that they perhaps should vote for Bush just for being less boring and wooden.
Noteworthy: This generated quite a bit of response from anti-abortion folks; as most of it came the same day (a week after the cartoon ran), I suspect it may have been a form of an email campaign.
