The Bush national park plan Published: Marin Independent Journal Date: June 5, 2001 About this cartoon: President Bush made a photo-op to suggest he was a staunch environmentalist and that expanding and protecting national parks was a priority. Not too many people seemed to believe this. Noteworthy: I don't rely on verbal puns that much, but the strength of this cartoon is largely from just that. I used a computer to align and lay out the parking lot lines. |
