about this cartoon: | Title:
Bush Tracy's court Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Aug. 13, 1990 About this cartoon: President Bush was shaping his Supreme Court, and his newest pick was David Souter, whose politics were somewhat murky and whose positions were hard to guess. He later turned out to be somewhat more liberal than expected. Noteworthy: A fun cartoon inspired by the movie release of "Dick Tracy," although this cartoon was also influenced by Chester Gould's origina comic strip version. |
