about this cartoon: | Title:
The cave assault Published: Marin Independent Journal Date: Dec. 19, 2001 About this cartoon: Even as American bombers were pounding the suspected cave hideouts of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan, at home Attorney General John Ashcroft continued his efforts to enforce a state of semi- martial law and push for secretive military tribunals of suspected terrorists. Noteworthy: Two familiar lady symbols came in handy here. The bomber text is a bit blurry but reads "Ashcroft anti-terroriam policies" |
