about this cartoon: | Title:
Not too big a doofus Published: Marin Independent Journal Date: Oct. 8, 2000 About this cartoon: Expectations were pretty low for George W. Bush in the first of his three presidential debates with Al Gore. It was to the point that his not completely embarrassing himself would have been considered a victory. He didn't, and it was considered such. Noteworthy: My first use of the term "doofus" in a cartoon. It just seemed to fit the mood of this cartoon. |
