about this cartoon: | Title:
Vote for Character Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Nov. 12, 1987 About this cartoon: The presidential campaign, as usual. got away from policy matters and focused on personal traits, such as Senator Joseph Biden being caught for plagiarism or gary Hart caught in an extramarital affair. This cartoon pushes the trend a bit more. Noteworthy: "Filbert T. Hazelnut," was a fun name to come up with (both are names for the same nut, which, incidentally, I dislike). | ||||||||||||||
