about this cartoon: | Title:
Windows Glitch Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date:Feb. 15, 1999 About this cartoon:Microsoft, in its antitrust trial, was trying to prove that it was not a vicious monopoly and that its attempt to bundle its browser with its Windows system was not anti-competitive. A video shown to the court to support its side was found to be doctored to cover up technical glitches, a huge embarrassment for Bill Gates and his company. Noteworthy: I'm a Mac person, even though I worked in Microsoft's territory around Seattle. |
