about this cartoon: | Title:
Monopoly Published: Ventura County Star Date: Nov. 5, 2002 About this cartoon: The case of the federal government and several states against Microsoft's anti-competitive business practices finally thudded to a finish. When the dust settled, Microsoft was forced to give out a bit of its code and allow some icons to be removed from computer desktops, and that's about it. It came out mostly unscathed, with minimal punishment for past practices and few limits on future practices. Noteworthy: Colored for the Internet. Reprinted in the Washington Post weekly edition. |
