about this cartoon: | Title:
(n)Ever again Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: May 24, 1993 About this cartoon: Aftre the Jewish Holocaust, the cry "Never Again!" was used to declare that the world would never stand for another genocide. Alas, there has been many instances since, particularly in the Balkans, with one group's "ethnic cleansing" following another's. Noteworthy: The surrealistic use of the lettering as physical objects adds visual interest and impact, a trick used on occasion by both editorial and comic strip cartoonists. | ||||||||||||||
