About this cartoon: The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a California ban on assault weapons, saying that 2nd Amendment protections did not intend to cover this. Of course, the NRA screamed that the Constitution was being compromised by pick-and-choose interpretations.
Noteworthy: Cartoons on gun control are the likeliest ones to draw heated criticism — even more than abortion cartoons — and this was no exception.
